Alpha Hospital Sheffield is looking for clinical nurses with a minimum of 2 years experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care without direct supervision and to participate fully in delivering a sensitive, efficient care service to all patients within the care of Alpha Hospitals.
Some main responsibilities will be to provide quality care using the Multi-disciplinary Care Programme Approach; to apply research based knowledge and appropriate models of patient care as a member of both a Multi-disciplinary and the nursing team; to act as a Named Nurse for designated named patients; to recognize the need to report to the Clinical Nurse Manager any information relevant to the needs, treatment or behaviour of the clients; to supervise the care given by junior staff, i.e. Support Workers and to promote Deaf issues within the service and other professional settings and develop knowledge of the Deaf language, culture and community as a linguistic minority group.
