MISSION STATEMENT
Alpha Hospitals was set up in November 2002 to meet the growing need for specialist units providing care for patients with enduring mental illness.
Our mission is to deliver the highest standard of patient care which is clinically effective in a manner which respects peoples dignity, privacy and individuality in a safe, high quality environment.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The primary aim of Alpha Hospitals to develop specialist psychiatric services that meet the needs of the local community. The company will work towards partnership arrangements with the NHS through the development of good working relationships, an informed understanding of the local needs and a unique integrated approach to the commissioning of services. Services will be needs led, flexible and complement the existing services within the NHS. Models of care will be evidence based and where possible similar clinical documentation and audit tools will be used to assist patients to move between services. Our fee rates will be in the public domain. We aim to be transparent in reporting real costs and how this affects pricing.
Alpha Hospitals aim to provide innovative services that are fully linked to specialist teams within the NHS i.e. Community Mental Health Teams.
All services provided will be based on easy access and on robust reporting systems to the purchaser and key clinicians. Alpha Hospitals is committed to treatment and therapy options that embrace a holistic approach. The company supports a multi-disciplinary team approach to care and teams will also be supportive of non-medical therapeutic treatment interventions that give maximum choice to the patient and involve them in finding the best way for them to recover.
