| Personality Disorder Service Open Day | Friday 9th March 2007 |
As you will be aware over the last two years at Alpha Hospital Bury we have been developing a unique approach to working with men with a personality disorder. We are now formally implementing a working model and are planning to monitor outcome on the service to examine its efficacy over time.
Our philosophy at Alpha Hospitals has always been to remain transparent and open in all of our interactions and communications with Commissioners and other involved professionals. We believe that we have developed a way of working which will benefit both patients in personality disorder services as well as protect and empower staff of all levels to work positively with this group and each other.
We would like to invite you to an open day at Alpha Hospital Bury to attend a brief presentation about the working model itself and its practical implementation. We will also be able to show you the Hudson Building where the service is housed. You will have the opportunity to meet members of the MDT at all levels to discuss the effectiveness of the approach with members of staff who work with this complex patient group on a day to day basis.
Places on the openday will be limited so I have included a faxback slip for acknowledgment of attendance at the Open Day on 9 March 2007. If this date is unsuitable and you would like to visit then please suggest an alternative on the form provided.
