Alpha Hospitals the low secure and adolescent service provider led by Patricia Hodgkinson, previously Chief Executive of Capio Nightingale Hospitals has acquired Mayflower Hospitals Ltd. Mayflower Hospitals provide highly specialised services including medium secure services for the deaf, low secure services for women and personality disorder services. Alpha Hospitals total beds now number 90.
Patricia Hodgkinson said I am delighted that we have had the opportunity to expand our service provision in these very special sectors in Bury and Sheffield. We shall continue to work with the NHS to develop step-down services which complement Mayflower Hospitals existing unique provisions.
